Duleek: Irish Cancer Society - Thanks to all those who supported the Church Gate Collection held on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May at Duleek Church. A total of €795.50 was raised.

Dare2Care

Thanks to all those who supported the 60's 70' night, DJ Shane McGuinness for the great selection of music and Carranstown Lodge for the venue, on Saturday 25th May. A great night was had by all and €410 was raised which will go a long way towards building 3 new classrooms to the school in Ghana.

Coffee Morning

Coffee Morning in aid of Autism Spectrum Disorder unit in Duleek School Please come and Join Us. A Bring and Buy Coffee Morning will take place in Duleek Courthouse on Sunday 16th June from 9.30am to 12.30. Raffle on the day.

Duleek Cardiac First Response Group Information Evening

We are holding an information evening for anybody who may be interested in becoming a Cardiac First Responder CFR with our group on Thursday 13th June at 7:45pm in the parish centre Duleek. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to all responders. Those already holding Certs or with experience and interested in joining are also welcome to attend. Blood Bank Thanks

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service would like to thank all for their support for the recent Blood Clinic in Teach Raithneach. A total of 71 Donors came to donate. There was 1 former donor and 4 first time donors.

Councillors re-elected

Congratulations to Councillors Wayne Harding and Paddy Meade on their re-election to Meath Co. Council. Now Councillors, roll up your sleeves. We have a list-of-to-do's for you both from here to Navan and back again, so the sooner you get started the better. A heart felt congratulations to you both. Thanks for your help in the past, looking forward to working with you again in the future.

Positive feedback received

There has been very positive feedback from a significant number of people who visited the area recently. Comments on how well the District looks were numerous, and highlights the Pride of Place that exists in Broomfield And District. Thanks and well done to everyone who makes an effort throughout the area. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and have not gone unnoticed.

Taste of Lough Derg

We are celebrating 40 Annual Pilgrimages to Lough Derg by hosting "A Taste of Lough Derg" on Sunday 9th June at 3pm in Church of Immaculate Conception Tenure Monasterboice. Small parts of the Lough Derg programme will be presented together with prayer and reflections and followed by Mass.

We would love to have past pilgrims together with newcomers with us at our reunion.

Sincere thanks to the Prior of Lough Derg and staff members who will be with us for our celebrations. Everyone is welcome.

Annual Summer Set Dance Ceili

The Annual Summer Set Dance Ceili, the first of the Summer Ceilis, which took place in Teach Raithneach on Thursday 30th May enjoyed a wonderful attendance, which is greatly appreciated by the Teach Raithneach and Sandpit Set Dancers. Local Band Triskell played out of their skin as usual, while Fear an Ti, John Mc Evoy was on top of his game calling the Sets. A special word of thanks to John, Mairead, Jim and Teresa who put such an effort into the Set Dancing Classes in Teach Raithneach and Sandpit on a weekly basis. Thanks also to the Members of both Classes for their continued support, without which there would be no Set Dancing. This event will be followed by the Summer Ceilis in Mc Hugh's, Drogheda, on Thursday 27th June and the Fleadh Ceili on Thursday 15th August. Triskell will provide the music for these Ceilis also. TUS vacancy

A TUS vacancy exist with Broomfield and District Residents Association. The Work Programme involves Care-taking duties in and around Teach Raithneach, as well as the maintenance and up-keep of a number of amenities throughout the District.

If you think you are eligible to participate in this Scheme, then please contact the Gerard on 087 2729154 for more information. Self referral forms are available. These allow you to self-refer to Meath Partnership, the body who have responsibility for implementing the TUS Scheme in this area.
