Jiu-Jitsu Champions

Two young Clogherhead gents are to be congratulated on their wins in the recent Brazilian Junior World Jiu-Jitsu championships in Wolverhampton, England.

They are 12 years old Daniel Collier, son of Gerry and Charlene Collier, Dales and his cousin, 11 years old V.J. Collier, son of Niall and Joanne Collier, Dales.

Daniel, who is studying the sport two years, took part at Grey Belt level where he won Bronze while VJ, who is only studying the sport a number of months, won Gold at White Belt Level.

In March this year, Daniel competed in the British National Championships also in Wolverhampton, where he won Double Bronze.

The boys and their parents and family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Ben Cunningham and Stephen Walsh, owners of Primal BJJ, Greenhills, Drogheda, who are their coaches, for the support and help given to the boys and other students as well.

Nothing was too much for these two coaches in helping all their students and they are giving some free Trials to anyone who is interested at their studio in Greenhills, Drogheda. You can go online for further information. Once again you are all to be congratulated on what you have achieved, so keep up the good work.
