Slane Spinners have announced that their annual SOSAD sportive takes place on Saturday, May 11th, starting and finishing at Stackallen Tennis & Pitch & Putt Club where there is ample facilities for parking cars etc.

Registration details and routes information will be released shortly. Close to 300 cyclists took part in last years event over 50km and 105km.

Duleek CF 10k set to be another big occasion

Duleek Cystic Fibrosis 10k Remembrance Run/Walk takes place on Sunday 28th April 2019 @ 2.00pm. You can contact them at duleekcf10@gmail.com or phone Ann 086-2852642 or Sarah 087-6465457. They would appreciate your support in order to make this another very memorable and successful occasion.Thanks again from Duleek CF 10k Team. Also because of the popularity and success of the Duleek 10k, Cystic Fibrosis Ireland are now organising a national 6.5k Remembrance Walk all over the country on 13th April @ 2.00pm and there is a walk near you in Drogheda.

Max Mason will be remembered on April 6

Max Mason will be remembered again in the coming weeks with a memorial match and charity fundraiser between former schoolboy football rivals 'Laytown United V's Donacarney Celtic', with all proceeds going to JIGSAW (an organisation that support youth mental health).

The event has been planned for Saturday 6th April 2019 in Seafield Laytown, with kick-off @ 2pm. Refreshments will be available on the day and raffle tickets will be on sale shortly.
