A Crazy Day in the Park!

A Crazy Day In The Park For Alice will be held in the Ramparts, Dominick's Park on Sunday 20th July starting at 12 noon and finishing at 8pm.

They will have live bands and a DJ and there will be plenty of fun for the children with Crazy Castles and special guest appearance of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Or you can browse through the many stalls selling Cake & Sweets, Handbags, Trinkets, Baby cloths and plenty more.

There will be plenty to do for all the family and the organisers are delighted that Rumbles, The Coffee Dock and Barbara's Ice Cream Van will be in the park supporting the fun day.

They have charity collection tins in Southgate Barbers, Connors Butchers, Just a thought and Crazy Fruit in Southgate shopping Centre, Farrell & son Family Butchers Wheaton Hall, Woks Chinese Cookin, Wheaton Hall, Durnins Butchers in Bryanstown Manor, Eddie Rockets, Marsh Road and Dominic's Takeaway in Georges Street, Moorland café, chicken hut, four star pizza, news rail Laurence's centre, Darby o gills, Salt house, lambs butchers, Tuites butchers, Kieran's butchers, Red rose café.

Moneys raised will be donated to 'A Chance for Alice' which is a charity established to raise much needed funds for Baby Alice Turner who was diagnosed with High Risk Neuroblastoma, at just 15 months old.

Alice is currently undergoing intensive treatment for the next 18 months. The treatment includes 8 rounds of rapid induction chemotherapy every ten days, followed by high dose chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, radiotherapy, differentiation treatment and immunotherapy.
