St Peter's part of big show
At 8pm on the 4th May next, the Lord Mayor's Show, proudly reinstated by Mayor Frank Godfrey into the musical life of Drogheda, will take place in the Barbican Centre.
On stage on the night will be one of Ireland's most accomplished artists, acclaimed international soprano Celine Byrne, who will be joined by St. Peter's Male Voice Choir and its musical director, Edward Holly.
Choir PRO Anthony Moore said "We are really honoured to have been invited by Mayor Godfrey to perform on the night, which will be a superb treat for music lovers. We are particularly delighted to join with Celine Byrne, who has sung with us on a number of occasions in recent times. She is an outstanding talent and we are looking forward immensely to singing with her again. This is a show not to be missed."
