Oldbridge hosting a pirate adventure

Following the sell-out success of their production of Pride & Prejudice in June, Chapterhouse Theatre Company returns to the Battle of the Boyne Estate, Oldbridge to perform this brand-new adaptation of everyone's favourite swashbuckling pirate adventure: Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island.

The event is on Saturday July 27 at 6.30pm at Oldbridge.

When he stumbles across a coveted treasure map, young Jim Hawkins finds himself on an epic adventure in the hope of finding Treasure Island. But not everyone is to be trusted, and a dark secret is lurking on board the ship... Don't miss this timeless and much-loved story.

Now celebrating its 20th year, Chapterhouse has established itself as one of the UK's most successful and acclaimed touring companies. Touring over 180 shows every year, they breathe new life into the texts of some of literature's most celebrated writers, from Shakespeare to Austen to the Brontë sisters. Treasure Island is a brand new addition to the Chapterhouse repertoire for 2019, providing a wonderful day out for all the family.

Recommended arrival time is 5.30pm to allow you to get parked and to find a picnic space. The event will go ahead rain or shine. Please bring your own rugs or low back seating only, and do consider the weather when dressing for the event.
