If you get to nothing else in this year's Fleadh, then check this out.

Cherish the Ladies: Heart of the Home Concert takes place on Wednesday 14 August, 8:00pm at the Fleadh Concert Dome.

Legendary Irish-American ensemble, Cherish the Ladies will assemble an all-star crew for an unforgettable night of traditional Irish music, song and dance featuring music from their latest album, Heart of the Home .

Flute and Whistle player Joanie Madden will lead up this special evening which includes Mary Coogan (guitar), Mirella Murray (accordion), Kathleen Boyle (piano), Nollaig Casey (fiddle) with special guests, Donnchadh Gough (Danú, Bodhran), Trevor Hutchinson (Lúnasa, Upright Bass), vocalists Don Stiffe and Kate Purcell, 5 time World Step Dancing Champion, David Geaney, Pete McKinney (The Waterboys, percussion), and many more.

And now for even bigger news - the world class and just fantastic Our Lady's College Greenhills Orchestra, Choir, Trad Group and Dance Ensemble will be performing at the 1,700 seater Fleadh Dome as part of the evening. This a massive achievement and a very well deserved reward for all the hard work the students and teachers have put over the past few years.

The musicians of Our Lady's College will not only be representing the school, but they will be representing the town of Drogheda on this international stage for what promises to be an amazing night.

Honorary Orchestra and Choir member Dr Dónal Lunny as well as another very special guest! will be part of the Greenhills crew on the night.
