Droichead Arts Centre hosts unique play that centres on special needs
Artists with learning disabilities and other disabilities have collaborated with professional actors to produce a new show - The M House.
And it throws open its doors at the Droichead Arts Centre this week for two shows: 8.30pm, Wed 10th May and 11.30am Thurs, 11th May.
The M House is the place for you if you like watching TV all the time… If you like being checked on, on the hour every hour, every single day…If you don't mind being in a cramped space…And having all your decisions made for you…And if you don't mind taking turns holding up the walls yourself…Oh, and by the way, your name needs to begin with M.
This is a new production from KCAT Studio and Equinox Theatre Company, who bring artists with learning disabilities and other disabilities together with professional arts practitioners to create new and original theatre. This is a relaxed performance and audience members with special needs are especially welcome.
