Concert for local charities
Two local charities will benefit from a four-hour music-centred event at the Living Room in Sarsfields, Drogheda on Sunday next (February 10).
But the Sunday Session presented by Above Ground Promotions between 4 and 8pm will have something for all the family.
There will be a variety of music groups including special guests, Drogheda Male Voice Choir with David Leddy. There will also be a barbecue and, for the children, Martin the magician, and face painting.
The Drogheda branch of the Alzheimer Society and the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association are the charities being supported. A star-studded line-up of groups has been assembled, featuring Custer’s Last Band, Mother Funkers and Voodoo Jukebox.
Admission at the door will be €10 and the organisers are hoping for a good attendance to help raise funds for the two charities
