Charity day proves great success for the hospice

Ardee Hospice Homecare benefited from a wonderful day recently in the town when a charity soccer match was followed by a night of fun, music and raffles in Club Luna.

Gavin, Sarah and Nicole Malone along with their family and friends organised the event.

First up was the battle of the 'vintage players' from Ardee Celtic and Square United and then off to a night of Rock n' Roll in Luna nightclub.

The highlight was the wonderful raffle and there were a huge number of prizes on offer.

They included signed jerseys from Monaghan, Louth and Dundalk FC, €160 voucher for Farnham estate, two tickets to the Irish Grand National and a Steve Collins signed boxing glove.

Acts such as Pluck off, Ronnie Morgan, The Side Effects, DJ Jayo and special guest Niamh Farrell took to the stage to entertain guests.

The Family have decided to hold these events due to a family member currently undergoing treatment and as thanks to the organisation from a supportive community.
