William makes his senior debut

WILLIAM WEARS THE RED OF CORK: Congrats to William Egan who had his first run out with the Cork Senior Hurling team on Sunday last at Pairc Ui Rinn in the Waterford Crystal Cup.

William played for 50 minutes and in that time gave a good account of himself, with a free he found Paudie O'Sullivan on the verge of the square who duly dispatched to the net, and then scored a point from a long range free.

This young man who has two more years U21, has Intermediate Munster and all-Ireland medals, a County U21 title with Duhallow, and a Duhallow U21 Championship with Croke Rovers. In the very near future we will be hearing a lot more about this quiet and unassuming young man. Well done William, Kilbrin is very proud of you.

BINGO: Now that the cold spell is gone, bingo is back again in the community centre every Monday night commencing at 8.30.

CARDS: As with the bingo the game of cards returns every Wednesday night.

RECENT WEDDINGS: Congratulations to Marie Curtin and Daniel Kerr who were married recently, also to Timothy Clifford and Donna Kelly who were married in St. John the Baptist Church Kilbrin, recently. We wish the happy couples every blessing for the future.

RECENT BIRTHS: Congratulations to Katie and David on the recent birth of baby Caoimhe, also to Kieran and Sinead on the birth of baby Aoidin.
