Self Build Show returns to Green Glens this weekend


The Millstreet Self Build Show returns to the Green Glens Complex this Saturday and Sunday featuring new products and technologies to enable and promote sustainable building practices throughout Ireland.

Packed and full of features, on building a new home, improving or perhaps an architect or building professional, the show caters for everybody.

High quality exhibitors cater for all type of project, interior and exterior, with designs offering ideas and inspiration.

Additionally, they are guidelines on Energy Saving Tips and Advice, Garden and Outdoor Living Zone and there is a seminar programme each day.

Planning for a garden full of tranquil space for BBQ's and chilling out with friends and family, then get some inspiration from Garden and Outdoor living zone. Seminars will dwell on Natural Roofing slate, new developments in heat pumps, stoves, war on carbon, pricing and managing payments, spray foam insulation to oil fired central heating.

Workshop will highlight the common pitfalls people make when designing their new space and show the advantages and disadvantages of different layouts.

There will also be a number of expert landscape architects on hand to give you free one to one advice. A traditional skills villages looks at lime plastering, stone mason, wood carving, thatcher to building conservation and restoration.

The show offers quality specialists and exhibitors offering plenty of advice with live demonstrations on view. A series of seminars will focus on building regulations in addition to providing advice on energy efficiency. On Saturday and Sunday, opening hours are between 10am and 6pm.
