A NEW website has been launched offering free and independent advice to employers and employees who are going through the redundancy process.
The site also caters for employers by offering professional outplacement services that can be delivered on site, or at the Surviving Redundancy offices on Northumberland Road, Dublin.
Www.survivingredundancy.ie is a one-stop-shop that addresses the core financial issues faced by employees, such as jobseekers allowance and benefit entitlements as well as pension, tax and mortgage concerns.
The site also offers paidfor outplacement services for employers including cv advice and design, interview skills training and psychometric testing. The site addresses employerrelated issues including how to treat employees fairly and a guide to short-time work.
"SurvivingRedundancy.ie offers a source of information for businesses that are going through the redundancy process for the first time and may need some guidance on how to approach the process," said Sarah Healy. "We expect that human resources managers and decision makers will find the 'Employers Section' very useful."

The consultants at SurvivingRedundancy.ie are specialists in the outplacement and recruitment fields, with over 22 years of experience. The site went live for testing in the first week of March and is receiving 1500 hits a day.
