Mallow expo at Patrician
More than 100 organisations from the Mallow area will take part in the Bank of Ireland's 'Enterprise Town' initiative, which will take place at the Patrician Academy Hall on Friday week from 6pm-9pm.
The event will feature a business, community and sports expo in addition to family friendly activities including a make up masterclass with Shauna Cranitch and a dance demo by the Centre Stage School.
Organised in association with the local community the day is part of the bank's Enterprise Town scheme. Sinead Corkery, manager of the Bank of Ireland's Mallow branch, said the aim of the initiative was to promote enterprise and drive momentum for local business and the wider sports and social community by connecting residents with all that Mallow town has to offer.
"The local community has embraced this initiative wholeheartedly, and working together we have organised a very exciting programme of activities," said Sinead.
"We're calling on those living and working in Mallow to come along, support local business and the community and see the level of enterprise taking part in the town."
The event is free to attend and open to all, regardless of whether you are a Bank of Ireland customer. Meanwhile, the bank will be hosting a business breakfast seminar at the Springfort Hall Hotel on Friday, November 24.
The free event, entitled 'Brexit - Impact on Business' will run from 8am-10am and will feature presentations by keynote speakers Agriculture Minister Michael Creed TD, Diarmaid Gavin of Ronan Daly Jermyn Solicitors and Anne Lanigan the head of Enterprise Ireland's Brexit Unit.
