Good win for Youths

The Youths team entertained Fermoy at the Town Park and came away with a fine win against the league leaders.

Macroom 4, Fermoy 1:

Darren Dineen was in outstanding form as he helped himself to a hat trick. The other goal was scored by Sean Quinn.

Macroom remain in second place in the league and only require a point from their three remaining games to clinch the runners up spot. Fermoy, in first place, cannot be caught at this stage.

U16 League – Macroom 1 Douglas Hall 0: The U16's had a hard earned win on Sunday morning last against Douglas Hall in Murrayfield.

Macroom played well in the first half and were on top in all sectors and deservedly went in front when Ethan O'Gorman crossed for Jack O' Donovan to score.

Emerengcy goalkeeper Ryan Creed had very little to do for most of the game as the home defence were well on top. An excellent team performance with Cathal O Riordan, Jack Cronin and Aidan McMahon in great form for Macroom.
