Magic shows, live music and an indoor market were just some of the attractions which made for a jam packed programme at the recent Clondrohid Family Fun Day.

Proceedings kicked off with a 5K fun run/walk/jog and the evening finished with a very exciting ball run competition down the village.

In addition, everyone welcomed back the young footballers who won the Neily Twomey U-10 football tournament in Canovee, further adding to the great atmosphere on the day.

The organising committee thanked all those who contributed to the success of the event.

"There was great community spirit with all groups in the parish getting involved," said a spokesperson.

"We would also like to express our thanks for the many generous sponsorships and donations received from the businesses in Clondrohid, Millstreet and Macroom."

All proceeds raised through the day will support Clondrohid Community Hall which is an invaluable resource to the village and the work of the Parents Association at the local national school.
