No bother to the trail-blazing Craobh Chronáin Crossfields Ceilí Band who made it five in a row of accolades at the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil hosted in Drogheda.

With all the talk about Dublin attempting to complete the feat next week in Croke Park, the Dubs may have to obtain a winning recipe from the Freemount based Crossfields band.

As Drogheda pulsed with Irish rhythm and revelry, as age-old traditions were celebrated by new generations and the vibrancy of the Fleadh emanated from halls and streets, one distinctive sound was the Crossfields Ceili Band, who have now won five consecutive titles in the U15-18 Band section.

The Craobh Chronáin group is under the instruction of Alan Finn, the dedicated group comprised Darragh Twomey (Aubane), Cian Broderick (Rockchapel), Darragh O'Shea (Kilshannig), Ronan Buckley (Dromcolliher), Cian Daly (Rockchapel), Anna Buckley (Rathcoole), Marie O'Neill (Dromtarriffe), Sheila Kavanagh (Glantane), Ciara Hartnett (Newmarket) and Leah Murphy (Rathcoole).
