Castlelyons Carnival in aid of Fr Ferris Park

A very busy and diligent committee are putting the finishing touches to an exciting and full programme of events at the Casatlelyons Carnival.

Under the co-ordination of Pat O'Sullivan everything is falling into place for the event and all proceeds will go to reducing the debt on Fr. Ferris Park and upgrading facilities there.

This facility with its pitch, playground and all-weather walkway is of immense importance to many families, individuals, visitors and especially local clubs who would be at a great disadvantage without it. It is of regular use to Castlelyons Juvenile G.A.A. and at times Castlelyons Senior Club for training Castlelyons Camogie Club, Castlebridge Celtic F.C. Castlelyons National School and it is home to St. Nicholas Athletic Club.Fr.
