Youth club relaunch

IT is hoped that Millstreet Youth Club will re-open in October 2013. If any adults are interested in volunteering with the youth club please contact Madeleine Frissung on (087) 2774919.

All volunteers will have the opportunity to take part in training courses, including child protection training and all would be subject to Garda vetting

TRAD FOR TROCAIRE

MILLSTREET Community School host a Trad for Trocaire event on Thursday, October 3, at 8pm in the school library.

This will be a celebration of traditional music, song and dance presented by the students, along with a chance to raise money for Trocaire's work with poor communities in developing countries. Admission is free.

AUBANE DANCING

ALL the best in polkas and hornpipes are promised in the lively sessions at Aubane Community Centre from next Monday night. The venue is situated close to the popular Kerry Road on the Millstreet to Rylane road.

Setting the dancing gigs in motion on Monday night is the popular Ger Mutphy with the action on the floor in Aubane Community Centre commencing at 9.15pm on each Monday night over the coming months.

GRAMOPHONE CIRCLE

MILLSTREET Gramophone Circle meets in the Canon O'Donovan Centre this Friday at 8.15pm. The guest presenter is Maurice Linehan. The public are invited to attend.

E-CENTRE WORKSHOP

CHANGE Your Thinking - an ideas generation workshop for all business owners or those who would like to come up with a business idea is up and running in Miilstreet Enterprise Centre on this Thursday.

ADULT LEARNING

The Millstreet Adult Learning Centre runs a variety of Adult Education Courses in mid September. Contact Aine on (086) 7707301 for further information.

COFFEE HOSTING

A COFFEE evening in aid of Marymount Hospice takes place in Ballydaly Hall on this Thursday, September 19, between 8-10pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

BALLYDALY SETS

SET dancing recommences in Ballydaly Hall from Wednesday, September 25. All are welcome to attend.
