Three late goals not enough to save spirited Ballygiblin

Ballygiblin's Division Three hurlers were in action on Sunday evening when they travelled to Glantane to play Kilshannig in the league.

The home side got off to a good start, and helped by a goal midway through the half, they led at the break 1- 9 to 0-3. Kilshannig continued to play well on the changeover and they moved 1-11 to 0-6 ahead. Ballygiblin had three late goals by Dylan Reidy-Price (2) and Dean Barry to leave just three points in it at the end in favour of Kilshannig 2-14 to 3-8.

Elsewhere, the Glanworth Under-14 Ladies football side had a big win over Araglin Desmonds in Glanworth on Sunday. The final score was 8-15 to 2-1.
