Penny Dinners successful walk


The Cork Mental Health Foundation held their Annual Church Gate collection last weekend, and a total of €246 was collected. On behalf of the foundation, I sincerely thank everyone that subscribed to this very worthy cause.


In the few weeks time cleaning of the graveyard will begin. We ask anyone who would like to volunteer to work just two hours 10am-12noon one Saturday in the year to help in the clean up. If you are available please contact John Corkery at 087 2550340.

On Saturday the 16th of February treat your loved one to a night of karoke in the sports and social club starting at 9pm. A generous cash prize for the best singer on the night a spotprize for the best singing couple on the night. So join us in a night of song and laughter. Hope to see you there.

Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old, you will get the chance to test your knowledge against that of a ten year old in a table quiz on Friday 8th February. All questions will be suitable for a ten year old, how will you fare against them, mark the date in your diary and come along and see if you can win cash prizes or will the ten year olds claim the money. More details next week.

There will also be a predictions competition based on upcoming sports events in 2013 and a sponsored walk is also being organised dates to be confirmed.


Kilbrin baby and toddler group are up and running every Tuesday morning from 10am to 12pm. Parents, guardians and carers welcome.


The community extend their condolences to Mary & Niall O'Sullivan, and family on the death of Mary's brother Jerry Walsh, Emmet Street Mallow. May he rest in Peace.
