Frank Murphy: The death occurred on June 14 unexpectedly at the Mercy Hospital Cork of Frank Murphy, Skeheenarinky, and formerly of Robert Street, Mitchelstown, and a native of Lower Road, Cork.

The late Frank was very well known. He was employed at Mitchelstown Creameries up to his retirement.

His Funeral, in accordance with HSE and Government guidelines with COVID-19 regarding large gatherings, was held in private. His funeral Mass was held in Mitchelstown Parish Church on Wednesday.

To his wife, Ann (née Scanlon); daughters, Margaret, Liz, Annette and Noelle; sons, Jim, Frank and Martin; sons-in-law; daughters-in-law; brother, Tony; sisters, Theresa (Coughlan) and Bunty (Cotter); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

William 'Billy' McNamara

The death occurred on June 20 of William (Billy) McNamara, Brigown, Mitchelstown.

He was a native of Labbamallogga. He had been in ill health for a while. He was a retired milking-machine agent.

In accordance with HSE and Government guidelines with COVID-19, his Funeral was held in private. Requiem Mass was held in Mitchelstown Parish Church on Tuesday, with burial afterwards.

To his wife, Noeleen (née O'Brien); sons, John, James Willie, Aidan and Brian; family; daughters-in-law; brother, John; 13 grandchildren; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Nancy Spillane

The death occurred on June 15 of Nancy Spillane (née O'Leary), Ballyoran, Castlelyons and formerly of Bridgeville, Kilgarvan.

The late Nancy was in her 92nd year. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael. In accordance with HSE and Government guidelines with COVID-19 regarding public gatherings, Nancy's Funeral was held in private. Requiem Mass took place on Wednesday in St Nicholas Church, Castlelyons, with burial to Castlelyons Cemetery.

To her daughters, Margo and Mary; sons, Michael, Neil and Declan; sisters, Joan and Alice; brothers, Michael and Gene; grandchildren, Oisin, Aislinn, Louise, Michael, Colm, Anthony, Fian, Leah, Mark, Aine, Dara and Brian; daughters-in-law, Noreen, Siun and Lena; brother-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Thomas Slattery

The death occurred unexpectedly on June 14 at his residence Raheen, Cahir of Thomas Slattery, formerly of Coolegarranroe, Burncourt.

The late Thomas, in his early 50s, was very well known over a wide area.

His Funeral was held in private in accordance with HSE and Government guidelines in relation to public gatherings with COVID-19. Requiem Mass was held in the Church of the Assumption, Ballyporeen, on Thursday.

To his children, Dylan, Nikita and Trevor; brothers, Michael, Ned and Barth; sisters, Breda, Margaret, Maria and Kathleen; in-laws; niece; nephews; cousins; work colleagues; neighbours and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Edmund 'Ned' Cronin

The death occurred on June 16 of Edmund (Ned) Cronin, Santry, and formerly of Anglesboro. The late Ned was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty).

In accordance with HSE regulations and Government guidelines in relation to public gatherings during COVID-19, his Funeral was held privately.

To his sons, Sean and Brian; daughters, Maria, Anne and Helen; sons-in-law, Jimmy, Damian and Kieron; daughters-in-law, Sylvia, Annmarie and Jane; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Julia and Mary; nieces; nephews; extended family; neighbours and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
