Mallow GAA run aids three local charities

Around Mallow

Three Mallow charities benefited very much in recent days thanks to the generosity of Mallow GAA who organised a 19K marathon in which over €16,400 was raised and presented to the three groups.

The event was organised by Keith Moynihan and almost 100 players and selectors took to the roads for the run.

The groups who received cheques were the Mallow Search and Rescue Unit, who were represented by Willie Walsh, Noirin Brennan on behalf of St. Vincent de Paul and Carla Ankiah for the My Canine Friend Autism Dogs.

At Mallow GAA headquarters last week each group were presented with a cheque valued at €5,400.
