Kildorrery had 3-21 to 2-3 win over Charleville in the Rebel Óg Minor B Football League at Kildorrery on Thursday evening.
At the break Kildorrery led 3-7 to 2-2. The second half was totally dominated by the home side, who ran out easy winners.

Ballygiblin's Under-21 A hurlers lost out to Kilara Óg in the Avondhu championship at Fermoy on Tuesday evening.
Ballygiblin led 1-5 to 0-7 at half time. The Kilworth-Araglin side did very well in the second half as they emerged winners by 1-12 to 2-6.
Ballygiblin have still to play Fermoy in this round-robin championship.

In Araglin GAA lottery news, the numbers drawn were 21, 22, 25 and 26. There was no winner.

The death occurred on July 26 of Mary Walsh at her residence, 12 Church Street, Mitchelstown.
The late Mary (née Carroll) was formerly of Tenniscart, Buttevant.
She was a popular member of the local community and was predeceased by her husband, Jim.
She was a deeply religious lady and a Minister of the Eucharist.
Her popularity was borne out in the large and represented attendance present at her funeral from the Chapel of Rest on Sunday evening to the Parish Church, and also at the Requiem Mass and Burial on Monday.
Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery. To her sons, John and Kieran; daughters, Ann and Fiona; brother, Don; sister, Joan; sons-in-law; daughter-in-law; grandchildren, Joshua, Jake, Megan, Hannah and Niamh; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours; and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

North Cork Anti-Litter results
The final results of the North Cork Anti-Litter Challenge were announced last week. Meelin finished first, Coolagown second, and Kildorrery third. This was a great achievement by Kildorrery.
Meelin now qualify for the county final. Sincere thanks to the dedicated volunteers in Kildorrery who were on the litter rota over the six-week period. Congratulations also to Kildorrery Tidy Towns on winning the Built Environment Landscaping and Wildlife Award at the Ballyhoura Awards, night which was held recently in Newtownshandrum.

There will be a mini classic this August weekend. It has been sponsored by Irish Cement Ltd.
The format is a team of three, better ball of any combination. Entrance fee is €30-per-team for members and €45-per-team for visitors. Food will be provided on the day as part of the entrance fee. This is an important revenue-raising exercise for the club, and as many members as possible are urged to participate.
