THE On Q Productions presentation of Norman Robbins play "Pull The Other One", a two-act comedy directed by Danny Buckley and Lorraine Sheehy, commences tonight in Mallow. The experienced and well known faces of Pat Taylor, Mags O'Riordan, Anne Marie Scully and John Gleeson are well supported by the equally talented Louise Luddy, David Sheehy and Michael Vaughan when they take to the stage in the "Aemilian Theatre" at St. Marys Secondary School from tonight to Saturday, November 9. Tickets can now be booked now on 086-2558199.

Adults are €10 while Students and OAPs are €7. Doors open at 7.30pm and curtain up at 8pm.


Mallow Special Olympic Club are organising a fundraising event being held in Albert Lynch's Bar Called "Star for a Night" on Friday, November 15. Each singer will perform as their idol and it is hoped the people of Mallow will support the performers as they collect with their sponsorship cards.


Mallow Art Club will hold its next demonstration on tonight Thursday, November 7 in the Mercy Centre at 7.30pm. The very popular Barbara Barrett will give the demonstration in watercolour. All welcome and refreshments will be served.


A Special Olympics Mallow fundraising table quiz will be held in Mona's Bar on Thursday, November 14 from 9pm. Many prizes will be on offer on the night. Tables of four are €40. The man with the questions and the prizes is Fergus Ryan. Please support.


Wheelspinner Pandy Healy c/o Michael McGrath won €75.00 in the Mallow GAA Member's Weekly draw which was held in Carrigoon on Tuesday, October 29. The numbers drawn were 1 - 23 - 24 - 30. The €30 lucky dip winnrs were John Dineen c/o Denis Healy, Mick Burke c/o Paddy McCarthy and Mary Fitzpatrick c/o Tom O'Neill. The jackpot is currently at €6,500. Spinning the wheel on Tuesday, November 5 was Aoife Mills c/o John Dineen.
