Confirmation

Last Wednesday saw confirmation day in Kilbrin for the children from Kilbrin and Ballyclough. 56 boys and girls got confirmed and they did so in the most beautiful of spring days. Bishop Crean celebrated the service with our own PP Father Michael Leader and his colleagues. The celebration was attended by a packed church and we would like to thank Bishop Crean and Father Leader for making it a very special occasion for the confirmation boys and girls and their families.

We would also like to thank the fabulous choir of children from both Kilbrin and Ballyclough schools, and their conductor, who added so much to the occasion. A big thanks is also due to everyone that worked hard to make the day possible. The people that helped clean up the village and prepare the church grounds. The flags, bunting and the superb flowers and artwork in the church and of course the altar servers.

Most of all memorable days like these are made possible because of the dedication of the pupils and their fabulous teacher's to whom we all owe a huge gratitude. Finally we wish the pupils of both schools all the very best marking this very important occasion and all the very best moving on to the next stage of their young lives.
