Ladies looking to update their wardrobes were not disappointed when the top styles for spring and summer, along with a range of timeless fashion staples, were on display at the hugely successful fashion show in Freemount last Friday night.

The effervescent Celia Holman Lee was MC for the evening and during the interval and after the Show the model, stylist and television presenter enjoyed chatting to various groups of women attending the event.

Local lady Kay Fehin proved she has an eye for style when she scooped the Best Dressed Lady prize. Kay paired a purple dress with a yellow coat showcasing a look that trendsetters predict will be a winning combination for this year's style conscious woman.

Meanwhile, local retailers had their spring/ summer ranges shown off beautifully by models from the Celia Holman Lee Agency while the trade stands around the hall displayed ranges of accessories and products to compliment the fabulous clothes.

Funds generated through the fashion show will support two local projects including the development of a Youth Centre. This involves renovating an area in the centre, which will be a dedicated, safe and secure space for young people to meet and participate in activities.

The second project involves the resurfacing of the community car park which serves the community centre, school, playschool, playground, GAA grounds, after schools club, walkway, multi-sports area and Heritage Centre.
