Charleville's 2-day cycle race returns

The 19th annual Charleville 2-Day 3-Stage cycle race, hosted by Charleville Wheelers is ready for road this weekend, Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th September.

This race is highly regarded and recognised as one of the best in Ireland by the riders themselves and are eagerly a waiting this years renewal of the event. This race has once again attracted a field of over 250 riders, representing the 32 counties.

This event over the last number of years attracted upwards of 1,000 people to Charleville, filling all guest houses and hotels in the local area as far afield as Killmallock and Adare - a welcome additional boost to the local economy over the weekend.

The committee of Charleville Wheelers Cycling Club is asking all residents and motorists on the circuits for their patience and cooperation as delays may be caused, especially around the finish area's of Smith's Road, Charleville on Saturday Between 2pm and 3pm; and on Sunday in Garienderk around 3pm and 4pm.
