The Mallow Youth Drama group Centre Stage has opened a pop-up office next to Lucey's Butcher shop on the Main Street.

The office will facilitate those who wish to enrol or pay fees to join the popular drama team.

The office is open throughout the week from 11am to 5pm. Mags O'Riordan of Centre Stage says the new outlet has drawn much interest from parents and children alike.

The group also has an office with the same opening hours at the Gilbert Centre on Upper Fair Street.

Classes commence on Monday, September 15 with highly trained tutors in charge of various arts including drama, singing, jazz dance, ballet, tap, tap combo, musical theatre, piano and guitar.

On Saturday, September 30 Centre Stage will present their production or Willy Russell's 'Blood Brothers' at the Amelian Theatre with curtain up at 7.30pm.

This is a fundraising performance for Shane O'Riordan who is travelling to London to study Musical Theatre at the prestigious College Arts Educational School.

Shane was chosen from 1,400 hopeful with only 38 places being awarded with educational costs for three years totally €50,000.

We wish him well and your support on the night will be gratefully appreciated by Shane, his family, colleagues and all in Centre Stage.
