Street museum project
NEWMARKET Community Development Association are running a Street Museum as part of the Days of The Region Month being organised by IRD Duhallow this Saturday, July 20, from 1-5pm.
Over 20 businesses and private houses in the town, from the West End through to Church Street, will be putting up displays in their windows that are of cultural or historical interest to Newmarket; anything from old photographs, posters, old objects, poems, songs, history of the building or more elaborate displays. There will be a prize for besst display.
We will also be serving refreshments under a marquee at the town park, and there will be a wide range of craft stalls taking part.
GAA LOTTO RESULTS
RESULTS from draw of Monday, July 1, were numbers drawn 1, 11, 29, 32. There was no winner of the €2,900 jackpot.

Results from draw of Monday, July 8, were numbers drawn 14, 15, 21, 24. There was no winner of €3,000 jackpot. Lucky dip winners were €50 - Seán Angland, Kiskeam; €30 each to Mary Nolan, Anna Collins, Conor O'Sullivan and Nora and Paddy O'Rahilly.
DEATH OF JULIA GEANEY
THE death took place on July 7 of Julia Geaney (Nee Lane) beloved wife of the late Bill and mother of Kathleen (McAulliffe), Elizabeth (O'Loughlin), Helen, Willie and the late John and Patrick. Funeral took place on July 10 after requiem mass in St. Mary's Church to Clonfert Cemetery.
Sincere sympathy is extended to her family, son-in-law Dan, grandchildren, niece, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.
