'South Pacific' to open next Friday

AFTER the phenomenal success of Oklahoma, Showboat and Calamity Jane the Briery Gap presents its 4th Annual Musical South Pacific.

The Briery Gap are delighted to welcome back Kevin Hough (RTÉ) to direct undoubtedly one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most glorious scores, featuring magnificent numbers including 'I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair', 'Some Enchanted Evening', 'Happy Talk' ´There Is Nothin' Like A Dame'.

South Pacific has just finished a very long and successful revival on Broadway and the West End, receiving numerous Tony Awards including Best Musical. Set on a South Pacific island during World War II it is a quintessential love story that stands the test of time. Gala opening night on Friday, April 19 (in association with Macroom District Lions Club) and then performances on Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st April Friday 26th Saturday 27th Sunday 28th April.
