Hothouse Flowers to rock racecourse

Cork Racecourse in Mallow will be rocking to the sound of one of Ireland's top music acts when the 'Cork Rocks' summer spectacular returns to the venue on Friday, June 14.

The 'Sport of Kings' and the music world will come together for one spectacular night at the venue with an evening featuring a top class flat card with the first race going to post at 5.50pm. 

Once the final race is finished the Hothouse Flowers will take to the stage at around 9pm. 

The band has remained a consistent live force on the Irish music scene for more than four decades and remain huge fans favourites to this day. Their recent UK tour saw them reveal fresh material from their brand new album 'Let's Do This Thing', which is out now and available for download on the bands website with a general release is to follow very soon.

In addition to showcasing new material, the band will play favourites from their extensive back catalogue of six albums and singles including 'Don't Go', 'Love Don't Work This Way' their version of the classic track 'I Can See Clearly Now'. 

Cork Racecourse has laid on a range of tickets options for the night starting with the €20 Social Pack, which will include admission to the racing and concert, race card, tote voucher and drinks voucher. 

The summer BBQ package at €50 will include admission and seating in the Pavilion, while the Restaurant package at €55 includes racing and concert, reserved table with views overlooking the racecourse, a four course meal and tipster. There will also be a free shuttle bus service to the track from Mallow railway station or if you are driving, free on-site car parking.
