Scully's will host a rambling house again this year for Culture Night.

Nationwide, Culture Night has grown from strength to strength, it's a night of free entertainment in every town and village in Ireland, "so there's no excuse for watching the telly," says Mike Guerin, who will be the MC for the evening.

"Our Rambling House follows the traditional format, essentially an open mic session for anyone in attendance who wishes to sing, dance, play a tune, juggle or get fired out a cannon," said Mike.

The night has been run by the team behind Scully's Fest since 2016 and has featured an array of great performers over the years. "We cheat a little in that we invite a few talented locals to perform, to ensure that we have a quality night's entertainment," Mike says about the line up for the evening. "Also we'll finish off the evening with an open session led by the Anne's Bridge Street Ceili Band".

Culture night is on September 20 and the rambling house kicks off at 8pm in Scully's Bar, New Street.
