Topping the bill at a Concert on Saturday night in the Wallis Arms Hotel are the exciting Conifers.

A group rooted in traditional music and song, the young band came together at the University of Limerick two years ago, members are geographically spread across different strongholds of traditional Irish music such as Clare, Donegal and Sliabh Luachra's own Bryan O'Leary is sure to bring his fans.

Bryan is grandson of the famous Johnny O'Leary of Toureencahill and plays Button accordion, joined on stage by Cathal Ó Curráin on Fiddle, Bozouki and vocals; Felix Morgenstern, Bodhrán; Conor O'Loughlin, Concertina and Marty Barry on Guitar and Vocals.

Incorporated into the weekend programme are workshops on Saturday and the Millstreet Fleadh Cheoil on Sunday, a long established event, which is a pathway to competing in Cork and Munster Finals and onto the prestigious traditional event of Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann.

"We are very excited to bring together a great line-up of tutors for the workshops as part of this year's Millstreet Trad Festival for what promises to be a hectic traditional weekend", said Chairperson, Claire O'Leary.
