ROBBIE DOYLE and Richie Baker have been added to Bray Wanderers squad as Seagulls manager Eddie Gormley looks to assemble a side capable of competing in the Premier Division.
It is a third spell at the Carlisle Grounds for local lad Robbie Doyle while Baker joins the Wicklow club from Shelbourne. Both featured in Wanderers' opening day defeat to Dundalk, with Baker hugging the right touchline throughout the 90 minutes and looking lively while Doyle, the top scorer in the First Division in 2008 with Sporting Fingal, partnered youngster Shane O'Neill up front and the two Bray natives look capable of forming a strong partnership.
Speaking during the week, Gormley was extremely pleased with the duo's signings, citing their experience as a key attribute.
'We are delighted to have signed a player of Richie's calibre and his wealth of experience will be crucial to bringing our younger players to the next level.'
'We need the experience on the field and I think we possibly still need two or three experienced heads to come in to give ourselves a chance.'
