An application for apartments at the Ravenhall building on Upper Dargle Road in Bray has been sent back as incomplete.
The application is for a development on the site of the former Pickled Pig and Sunnybank Inn pub.
The area is currently occupied by Amphibian King Footwear and Everest Music, and a large portion of the building was previously a gym.
Wicklow County Council could not proceed with the planning process as the number of apartments in the public notice does not match the number of apartments in the drawings.
In a letter to the applicants Bravenhall Ltd, the council said that the public notice seeks permission for a total of 60 units, but the drawings only propose 54 units.
The applicants had sought permission to demolish a single story structure to the north east of the site.
They are also looking for change of use for the first second and third floors to residential, as well as the construction of further floors and a new six-story building.
