The Swing Cats swung in the Martello in Bray, where faces were painted and cups of coffee imbibed, for this year's East Coast FM coffee morning.

East Coast FM's Laura Wood hosted in Bray, and Tommy Greene in Greystones, with Declan Meehan in studio and broadcasting during the Morning Show.

These were just two of a huge number of venues, clubs, organisations, schools and more to host events to help raise funds for the county's cancer support centres and Wicklow Hospice Foundation.

In Greystones, the Beach House was the place to be, and the sun came out, as it always does, for the duration of the event.

Dylan E Crampton performed in Greystones, and also shone the previous Friday during his stint on the Late Late Show.

Queen of panto June Rodgers came along to say hello, and voices were raised by Canadh Le Cheile, the Greystones Cancer Support singing group.

There were also raffle prizes given away at all the venues, with supporters buying tickets in large numbers.

In Greystones, Brooke & Shoals and Sam McCauley gave magnificent hampers, to join hoards of smaller prizes and vouchers.

The coffee morning raised funds and also highlighted the work done by cancer support groups across the county.
