Pro wrestling proves big hit

A large crowd gathered at the Ballywaltrim Community Centre last Sunday for an exciting professional wrestling show.

Spectators were kept on the edge of their seats during seven matches which featured some local talent from Bray and surrounding areas.

The show was organised by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Ireland which is an organisation based in Bray that puts shows on all over the country throughout the year.

We had a good crowd at the event,' says Paul Tracey of NWA. Wrestling is popular with the kids in Bray and there's a training school for ages 12 and up.'

The next show will take place on September 30.
