Neighbours saw youths set car on fire

A car was set on fire on Beech Road, Palermo, in Little Bray, last Wednesday (25th) night.

Superintendent Padraic Powell said that gardai attended the scene after receiving a report about the incident.

The Audi A6 was taken away for a technical examination. 'The gentleman came out and the car was on fire,' said Supt. Powell.

The incident occurred at around midnight on Wednesday. Neighbours saw youths at the scene attempt to smash the driver's door window before throwing a flaming glass bottle underneath the back wheel. They fled the scene on foot.
