Hearty breakfast served by Greystones scouts
The scouts of Greystones ensured the parade-goers were well fed last Sunday morning, with their annual St Patrick's Day breakfast at the den.
The great and good of Greystones shelled out a crisp tenner each for the delicious spread, which is a fundraising activity, as well as a great community social event. People booked in advance for their places at one of the three sittings of breakfast provided by the young people of the area throughout the morning.
There were over 100 mouths to be fed by the hard-working volunteers on the day.
The boys and girls and their leaders worked hard from 7.30 in the morning, and indeed the previous evening until late, preparing for the meal.
This was the 22nd year of the 'Bricfeasta Mór' which is always enjoyed very much by both the Scouts and their customers.
Leaders did the cooking with scouts and ventures serving, and cubs selling tickets for the draw.
