Golf club lands site for sale with planning permission
A 52.6 acre site on the lands of the former Bray Golf Club has gone on the market with a guide price of €27.5 million.
The development site, called 'Harbour Point' by agents Savills, is divided into two lots, with planning permission for the development of a mixed-use scheme.
Permission was granted by An Bord Pleanala in 2010 for a €2 billion town centre development including a hotel, 900 homes, a cinema, offices and over 100 shops. The scheme collapsed, it is believed due to the economic downturn.
The planning permission remains in place, with an existing tenant, Lidl, occupying part of the site.
