Every dog certainly had its day at Burns' Doggie Day Out at Killruddery last Sunday.

Admission was free to the event with proceeds from activities going towards Dogs for the Disabled and the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.

Pooches and their owners went to the beautiful grounds in their droves to enjoy plenty of activities for canines and their families.

The day included over 10 have-a-go classes, including 'Best in Show'. There was a very popular agility course hosted by Wonder Paws and more doggy stalls than you can shake a stick at.

The Burns By Your Side reading dog, Harvey, was there to help illustrate the idea. Children get to gain confidence in building their vocabulary and fluency by reading to a dog.

The dogs who work with Dogs for the Disabled were also at Killruddery to show off their amazing skills. Vet, pet expert and business owner John Burns met people and their pets and everyone enjoyed the glorious weather.
