Anne shortlisted for Man Booker Prize
Bray resident Anne Enright has been shortlisted for one of the most prestigious prestigious literary awards in the world, the Man Booker Prize, for The Gathering'.
Anne has published a number of works including The Wig my Father Wore' and What Are You Like'.
She has also won a number of prizes including the Royal Society of Authors Encore Prize.
The Dublin native now lives in Bray and is in good company as other novelists short listed for the honour include Uan McEwan and Lloyd Jones.
Her novel The Gathering is a story about love and disappointment through three generations of the one family.
