Village Players to present 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'

Excitement is building in among the Village Players as they countdown to their 2018 production 'One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest'.

The Rathnew drama group will stage the show over four nights in St Bridget's Hall, Rathnew. The production will be directed by Stephen Acton.

The cast is made up of Randle P. McMurphy, Conan Tormey; Chief Bromden, Shay Brennan; Dale Harding, Declan McInerney; Scanlon, Joe O Connor; Billy Bibbit, Jayson Murray; Martini, Len Nealon; Cheswick, Gavin Darcy; Ruckly, Damien Douglas; Nurse Ratched, Marion Murphy; Dr. Spivey, Brenda Donoughe; Aide Warren, Noreen Higgins; Nurse Flinn, Katie Louise Murray; Candy Starr, Paula Acton Dover; Sandra, Sharon Byrne; Nurse, Jackie Higgins; Nurse, Amy Tierney; Set design, Dave Lee.

The show opens on Wednesday, November 7 and continues on Thursday, November 8, Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 19 at 8 p.m. nightly.

Tickets are priced at €12 and are available on the door. The production is suitable for over 15s.
