Dozens of film fans made their way to Glenroe Farm last Friday night for its first drive-in movie experience.
Retro Drive-in Movies, which has its head office in Kilcoole, ran the local event.
There were two films screened on the night, 'The Greatest Showman' in the evening and later, high-school classic 'Grease'.
Some of the viewers already had their pyjamas on and blankets wrapped around them, to enjoy films from the comfort of the family vehicle.
Retro Drive-in Movies has been showing films at Leopardstown Race Course, Slane and other locations, including Waterford. This was their inaugural Kilcoole night of fun and entertainment.
Move-goers arrive in their cars, and stay in their cars to enjoy the film and stay safe.
The screenings were well organised, and included the bonus of a beautiful skyline in the countryside as the sun went down.
Over the coming weekend at Leopardstown Racecourse, Retro Drive-in Movies are doing a Roald Dahl special, with screenings of 'Matilda', 'the BFG' and 'Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory'. For tickets, go to Retrodrivein.ie.
