Mary Byrne received congratulations recently after her retirement from Bray Home Care. Mary had given 29 years of service to the elderly in Bray.

Over the years, Mary saw huge changes in the service but one thing never changed, Mary was always seeing striding purposefully to work. She was much loved by her clients and they are all so sad to see her go having been taken care of so many years.

'Mary is one in a million,' said Gráinne Mc Loughlin. the service manager. "'er dedication and gentle nature will be sorely missed and Bray Home care is a very sad place today saying good-bye to Mary.'

Mary has left the care service in the capable hands of her daughter Denise who also works with Bray Home Care.

She was presented with flowers and joined by her colleagues to mark the happy occasion.

Founded in 1974, Bray Home Care is a not for profit home care provider, providing person centred care for our older community in their homes.
