Minister Simon Harris has sought an update from Wicklow County Council as to the likely timetable for an initial design of the Delgany Village Accessibility Scheme and when this will go out to public consultation.
'The Delgany Community Council was awarded funding from the 2019 Town and Village Renewal scheme fund for a Public Realm Design plan for Delgany,' he said.
'The Delgany Community Council have conducted a wide ranging consultation with the community and local businesses to develop this plan called "A Vision for Delgany". Progress on the Delgany Village Accessibility Scheme is an important part of this.
Minister Harris encourages residents of the area to share 'A Vision for Delgany' with their neighbours and friends online.
'The Community Council is anxious that they has as wide an input from Delgany residents to ensure they can capture everyone's personal suggestions about how the area can be improved,' he said.
'I would like to pay tribute to the hard work and dedication of all the volunteers in Delgany Community Council,' he said. Go to delgany.ie.
