Day of family fun for all at Bray Emmets GAA
Bray Emmets GAA fun day was held at the grounds last Saturday and included an exciting mini All-Ireland tournament.
Organisers said that the day was one of the most successful events held by the club in recent years.
They thanked their sponsors, Bray Credit Union and EBS, as well as all the coaches, volunteers, referees, and everyone who helped out on the stalls on the day.
Bagpipes were played at the start of the mini All-Ireland, which proved a little loud for some listeners.
The day was a huge success, with 'soak the coach' one of the biggest attractions. Young players got their own back for being put through their paces on the pitch.
There was plenty of food, with a barbecue on-site, as well as hot dogs, burgers and more, and lots of stalls with different items for sale.
There was tea and coffee for those who wanted it, and face painting for the younger attendees.
There was also the chance for a bit of pampering, with beauty therapists there to paint nails for anyone in need of a manicure.
There were games for everyone, and lots of fun on the day,, including hurley engraving, target ball and tyre and wall ball.
A huge kids raffle took place with plenty of great prizes, and a monster cake sale for those with a sweet tooth.
