Coast to Coast cycle for Purple House

On Saturday, July 13, a group of 20 people affected by cancer will cycle Coast to Coast across Ireland from Bray Seafront to Salthill Strand in Galway to raise funds and awareness of the services provided by Purple House Cancer Support.

On Saturday, July 13, a group of 20 people affected by cancer will cycle Coast to Coast across Ireland from Bray Seafront to Salthill Strand in Galway to raise funds and awareness of the services provided by Purple House Cancer Support.

The cyclists will depart from Bray Seafront this Saturday at 8 a.m. and are encouraging anyone to join them for any part of the cycle.

On Saturday, the group will cycle 125km to Tullamore, when they will stay overnight, before continuing on to Galway, another 120km, arriving late afternoon on Sunday, July 14, on Salthill Strand.

The cyclists include a cancer survivor, as well as people who have been affected by cancer or who have lost a loved on to Cancer.

The main aim of the cycle across Ireland is to make people aware that there are support services available like Purple House for families who are living with cancer.
