All Are Welcome Mass: The All Are Welcome Mass gives a particular welcome to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people, their parents, family members and friends. This celebration of Sunday Mass takes place at 3.30 p.m. on the THIRD Sunday of each month in the chapel at Avila Carmelite Centre, Bloomfield Avenue (off Morehampton Road), Dublin four, and is followed by chat over tea and coffee. The All Are Welcome Mass has been held in Avila Carmelite Centre since November 2013 (when Archbishop Diarmuid Martin was the main celebrant). At the WMOF 2018, during the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park, three people representing the All Are Welcome Mass brought the wine to Pope Francis. We at St Anne's Parish, Shankill, are always happy to welcome LGBT people, their parents and families as full members of the church.

Parish Family Day for Sacramental Recipients - Sunday, June 23: Fr Bernard would like to extend a very special invitation to all the boys and girls and their families, from all churches of the parish, who have been baptized during the year or who made their First Holy Communion or Confirmation, to a very special Celebratory Mass and Parish Family Day on Sunday, June 23, in St Mary's Church, Enniskerry, at 11 a.m. Those, who received the Sacraments of baptism and Communion are invited to carry white balloons and those who received the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to carry red balloons. Weather permitting there will be a garden party on the lawn after Mass where the balloons will be released. Parishioners, who received the Sacraments outside of the parish are especially welcome.

Celebrating 160 years of St Mary's Church: This September will be a very special occasion for St Mary's Church, Enniskerry as it celebrates 160 years. Plans for this occasion are well under way with a number of events planned including a history talk by Michael Seery on Friday the 20th entitled ''Fr Thomas O'Dwyer and the building of his church at Enniskerry', a Flower Festival and a special Family Mass to be held on Sunday, September 22.

Meetings of the Enniskerry History Society, which meets under the guidance of its president John Callan, resume in the autumn. Ireland's Own magazine has published a special Centenary Souvenir Edition covering 1919 as part four of its 'Birth of a Nation' series. PPN 2019 Plenary Meeting

We are inviting community groups to our first 2019 Plenary Meeting themed: Let's tell our stories and preserve our heritage. Morning Yoga

Louise's yoga class will be held every Thursday from 10 to 11.15 a.m. in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. This is a gently paced class where students learn how to align, open and strengthen the body gradually while stabilising the platforms of the feet and ankles, hips and pelvis and shoulder girdle. The class begins with general and targeted warm-up sequences followed by postures (Asanas) and Vinyasa (breath-connected) sequences before final relaxation in Savasana. Chair Yoga

Our very popular Chair Yoga class will take place on Thursdays from 11.30 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. Chair Yoga is suitable for almost everyone and helps students find balance and calm in everyday life. The class takes students through centering and breath-work, followed by postures that let the joints move through their range of movement while seated or through use of the chair while standing. Irish Dancing Classes

Irish Dancing on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. will end on June 16 but will return in Sept. Classes cater for any age over three years and all levels including absolute beginners. Registered members of An Comhdhail, fully Garda Vetted and insured.

Summer Festival

The mobile library visits Lynhams car park every second Thursday from 12.15 noon to 12.50 p.m. The next visits will take place on June 20 and July 4.

The Singing Angels

The Singing Angels, founded in 1964, will be performing in the main hall on June 13 at 12.30 p.m. in the Brockagh Resource Centre, Laragh. The mission is to engage youth from all communities in quality music and performing arts education that teaches teamwork, builds confidence, and provides a foundation for life. Since its debut, The Singing Angels has performed in 34 countries, sung with major celebrities, accompanied symphonies, and entertained dignitaries, presidents, and popes. Everyone is welcome with free entrance and car parking.

Elevation School of Performing Arts

Teachers Katie Charles, Kerry Smith and Principal Kate O'Connor were thrilled by their students progress and audiences were also entertained by the Elevation Dance Team, who performed a range of routines from their repertoire. The dance team is an intensively trained group of dancers from eight to 20 years who compete at National Level and hold many titles. On June 1 the team are hosting an incredible workshop with West.

End star Adam Garcia and this August, the dance team will travel to Disneyland Paris to perform in their very own show on a Disney stage, a most prestigious opportunity.

Audition dates for new members of the team will be announced in September for anyone wishing to join this dedicated group, while weekly ESPA classes will return in September offering Ballet, Modern, Musical Theatre, Speech seven Drama and Acro. SUMMER CAMPS - There will be summer camps in Laragh, Brockagh Resource Centre from July 8 to July 12, also in Aughrim Sports Complex from July 15 to July 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The camp are for ages four + yrs with all levels and abilities. Dance and musical, modern and ballet, arts and crafts, street dance and acro, games, costume and prop making and much more. Children, teens and adults will enjoy Taekwon-Do, a Korean art of self-defence. Pilates Classes

Pilates strengthens core muscles, improves muscle control, flexibility, strength and tone, as well as alignment and breathing. Zara Elkinson has trained and qualified through the STOTT Pilates Method of Movement. This method combines modern theories of exercise science with spinal rehabilitation, which gives a safe and effective exercise that sees results and is accessible to all. Free Computer Course

This is an ongoing free five-week digital skills computer course and we are taking names for the next course (depending on numbers) due to commence in the summer. It usually takes place on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Topics covered include online banking, apps, online government services, email, shopping online, online TV players, podcasts, photographs, security and much more. This course is for complete beginners or someone who is rarely online and wants to up skill. You will need to bring your own laptop/tablet to the course. Thursday Walks

Another fine dry evening last week for the 37 participants to enjoy the delights of the Brag/Whitewashed Gables Circuit. There were greats views over the Upper Glenmalure Valley, Table Track and Carrawaystick Waterfall. Despite the dry evening, no one escaped without getting their footwear mucky when the group encountered a section where tree felling was in progress. Great amusement followed. This week takes us to the Spinc in Glendalough, meeting as usual in Parnell Memorial Park for 7 p.m. and the Royal Hotel car park for 7.20.
